KidVentures provides a variety of programs to meet your child’s needs.
Our primary areas of specialty are providing evaluation and treatment for children in need of occupational therapy and/or speech-language pathology services. Our therapists all have a strong core education and background in their area of specialty. In addition, the therapists at KidVentures hold many higher level certifications and have specialty training in a variety of areas, including but not limited to Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT certification), Integrated Listening Systems (iLS), Handwriting Without Tears, PROMPT, Michelle Winner Garcia’s Social Thinking Curriculum and Kay Toomey’s SOS Approach to Feeding.
KidVentures offers several camps and group programs, which are available to clients and to children who are not clients, but may benefit from attending a group activity in a supportive environment. Some of the camps and groups offered at KidVentures include pragmatics and social skills groups, bike riding group, handwriting and phonics camps, winter/spring/summer camps and food school.
The staff at KidVentures is committed to improving the lives of the children we work with. One of the ways we accomplish this is by providing inservices and presentations to parent groups, teachers, and other professionals on a range of topics within the realms of occupational therapy and speech-language pathology.
